For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a fascination with dogs, and for the last 37 years I’ve lived and loved the Labrador Retriever. In 1986 our little family began growing into a menagerie of babies and farm animals on a patch of ground in Ontario, New York. As beginner’s luck would have it, our first foundation dog, a yellow female Labrador named Reo, passed on her beautiful head and easy-going temperament in every puppy she had. In 1999, after a long, wonderful life in our family, Reo passed away, but her legacy in our breeding program continued through several beautiful puppies.

Today our adventures with family and dogs continues, and includes a few grandchildren and a small pack of dogs in our small home-based operation that we still call, Eastlake Labradors. We are located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.  The dogs live a happy and healthy life with us in our timber frame home, as we continue to be completely hands-on with their training. Semi-retirement offers us more time to train and show our dogs. In 2016 we produced CH. Polar Freeze at Lochiel, our first truly home-grown champion. We call it an honor and a blessing to still be producing beautiful labs with lovable, gentle temperaments and glowing health.

We consider the families that receive a dog from us to be our extended family.
